All Bets Off

He does not exist anywhere except for on this page
And in a downward spiral my sadness turns to rage
The crowd keeps applauding though we both have left the stage
And if I ever mattered is now difficult to gauge

Will my heart always remain behind a cage?
That’s a bet for losing and I haven’t any wage
I’d ask him for forgiveness but I never act my age
I’d ask him for a hand but I know he won’t engage

I'm gone. Maybe it's like I never existed at all.

Try asking for forgiveness first, if there’s any way to communicate…. if there is need of it and there is fairness in the heart in question….. it might lift some weight off of you….. just go slow….. sometimes people have already forgiven, because the truth of what is in their heart is too deep for the other side to even understand…… and growing up into the understanding first is the only option .
So everything has to wait…. life does that to people sometimes.
