It was long overdue but I’ve finally updated my ‘About Me‘ section on my blog, and added a gallery with a few photos from my time in the Army plus a little back history of my life. It includes a few hyperlinks as well to additional information (like that time I applied to the Mars One project to live on Mars and actually became an official candidate). And an article about my unit during wartime.

Yes, I was going to live on Mars permanently. I passed all my medical exams and everything and even made it into phase 2 but I had to drop out for personal reasons (my child’s father was dying + other reasons)! But it was really awesome being an official candidate and I did many interviews and stuff as well while I was in the running! I suppose I should gather all that extra stuff up at some point and add it. But my official candidacy profile is up on the Mars One website and I’ve got the hyperlink to it in my About Me! Thank you!! 😆
