I’ve lived so many decades
I’ve lived a hundred lives
I’ve let down so many faces
I’ve met a thousand knives
I’ve ran around in places
Where nothing else survives
The weight of my own cases
Carry all of my nine lives

I don’t understand how it is we’ve got so far
The distance so demanding I can’t get there by car
Spiraled out to feed you and you turned into a star
Everything erupted now I’m feeling so bizarre

It’s what I tell myself to get by, my favorite lie
And one I never use but on myself
If said with a sigh, it’s likely I’ll cry
So I smile and draw a cross upon my chest
There may be a time, I hid more in rhyme
But now there’s really only one left
If put in a book, I know you would look
So I hid the only one on my shelf

I hid my heart so it wouldn’t get stolen
I got an injury and now it is swollen
Can feel it throbbing though it never was open
I stored it away so it wouldn’t get broken
It’s never been loved and I’m not even joking
Now it’s getting late and the window is closing

I don’t need a fancy dress, I don’t need a king
I don’t want a gold headdress, or a diamond ring
I won’t ever make you guess, just keep me near your wing
A kiss or two though I confess, would make me feel something

Pulled straight out from the mire
One sweet heart now gone sour
Leave it to cower for an hour
Diminish the balance of power
Make it feel your fire
Left unattended it should expire

I’ve never had anyone look at me the way they look at her
Although I am fully grown I must be an amateur
I wonder when they look at me I appear to be a blur
Similar to a black hole, is there nothing to observe?
Many times I have been told I’m just not what they prefer
But why do they always get to decide what is that I deserve?
I applied to move to Mars, I hope they put in my transfer…

Mostly clear with periodic downfalls
You can reach out but I’m ignoring most calls
If you drop by might find me clawing the halls
I’d communicate but my voice it just stalls
I don’t want to go out or browsing the malls
Just say goodbye, it’s better to avoid any pitfalls

I’ll never be available to you in any capacity
The feeling is mutual, I’ll fuck off rapidly
Tired of being shamed for my hospitality
You’ll never have my adoration and that is reality

She laid down her head on top of his tomb
It’ll quickly be over, it’ll be over soon
She’d been planning for days, it’ll happen by noon
Finally time for a nap, resting below is her groom

I can think of better things to do than to march in a sad parade
They wanted to demote me and give me a lower grade
Slow it down they said, you ain’t working to get paid
Your life doesn’t concern me, you’ll be charged if you complain

I grew up on Tennessee whiskey
Tequila Sunrise, Bloody Mary, Long Island Iced Tea, daiquiris
I’ll have love on the rocks please

Dark hair brown-eyed boy
get to know me
There are fields of gratitude to plow
The crown of my joy
and topic of every story
With you anything I’ll allow

The world sleeps
It passes noise for confusion
Sleep for delusion
Death it still creeps

Heartache at breakfast
It’s the meal of the week
Leaves you so malnourished
You can’t get on your feet

If you are the tide then I am the pebble underneath the soaring waves
You shape and move me in the most beautiful ways
I could get lost under your current for several days
Gone off radar though your path is one that saves

I’ll write the memo in code, cut it in thirds, send it with birds- But I hope the urgency is better than these 25 words.

Bits of pieces here & there. Thoughts. Ideas. Microwords.
I feel like watching you smile is one of the most beautiful things I can witness in life.
If you can’t have it, dream about it. Fantasize. Talk to yourself. Loneliness is a state, not a being. Be one with it.
Love. Even when you can’t.
Forgiveness isn’t hard. Ego is.
You’re one second away from being older. Cherish the new.
The walls we build around us to keep the sadness out also keeps out the joy.
I swear on my soul every time you smile a new galaxy is born. I can feel the after shocks in my heart. Even the Sun has sworn. Look how it shines on you.
You wear revenge on your heart.
Black soul, Black hole
Not much of a difference I know
Like a mold it will grow
It’s not too late to finish what you started.
Feasting on single lane, leaving darkness for tomorrow
Getting wasted on joy instead, I’m sick of all this sorrow
Skipping down single lane, I’ve nothing you can borrow
LOVE IS THE GREATEST CROWN, There’s no trouble here this part of town
He’s my favorite season of them all.
Everyone keeps asking me what it is I do. Well, I’m in the pursuit for happiness. Aren’t you?
Oh my tummy tum tum
Is growling like it wants some rum
I guess I better give it some….
You give what you take and you take what you give
I’m so tired of this mourning and I just want to live
Taking a break from my woes.
Did you know you could break me like glass?
Empty as a bottle.
Sometimes I need someone to disconnect with.
So evading these lines
I’ve tried to forget a thousand times
Feeling better about end days
And even less about rhyme
His voice puts movement in my heart.
But this one cut me deep like steel
I don’t know if I can ever heal
It hurts
These years they tend to cut
More challenges than it’s worth
It’s like a gunshot to the soul
CRUSH
Boys & misfortune are of most importance
Make me immortal so I can sleep forever.
My moral compass may be broken.
More cancelled invitations
I get the most in the nation
Shots of rum in my freezer
Make me less of an appeaser
I’m working on borrowed time.
I’m ready, not able
I’m under the weather and need to get stable
On and on silence is your war
He uses love like a seed
To pit in you jealousy & greed
To fight so hard for freedom
Years for liberty
Can anyone see me?
Lu once told me, all I had to do was prey.
Said you never loved
and you love me now
But you’re saying that
As you’re saying ciao
I left him lying
The trouble with love it’s trying
But don’t stick it out with a man who keeps you crying
His mouth is rot he’ll only keep denying
That’s his plan to slowly watch you dying
I never met a beast more terrifying
But why do good girls always come last?
My heart is a poet. Every beat is a syllable. Poetry its soul. I am but a poem waiting to be rhymed. Slow goes it.
You’ll soon be guest of honor at the crematorium.
Pain may appear closer in mirror.
Actually, I’m not angry. I’m fueled with intelligence and wit. I will smack thee with a mirror and say BEHOLD, SCUM. CLEAN THYSELF! 😉

And there upon my epitaph shall say, “died in the womb”, for life never existed and the heart was a broken tomb.

I travel by poetry-
Words are my train;
I go many places,
inside my own brain.

The moon and I, clothed in our own light, outcasts from the sun. We share a similar delight, that is of course the night. Alone, yet one.
