They weren’t looking too hot so I rehoused them

I still don’t know what’s growing aside from the Forget Me Nots that are slowly dying

I’m trying not to kill them

Too much sun, not enough water

Who fucking knows. But they all got a new house to stretch out their roots – which weren’t looking bad. I added magnesium salt cuz we all need it in our lives.

Someone said don’t get attached to your plants but I haven’t learned that yet.

  1. They did seem happier this morning when I put them in the windowsill. I rehoused them last night, gave them magnesium and more soil! They drink my spring water but I’m thinking of catching some rain water for them! I think they get too much sun and not enough water cuz their soil was dry when I changed it and they had tiny homes. The roots look really good still so I’m hopeful they won’t die on me! I’m seeing some new growth on the Forget Me Nots! Had to cut off a bunch of brown leaves and stems! I feel bad! The other stuff growing is suppose to be edible but I don’t know when. I have bigger pots to transfer them if they do outgrow these! They outgrew those mini pots and finally got the other 2 out of my cups! So it’ll be a change for them but they can spread out and these have drainage holes! Fingers crossed!

I’ll need fresh soil soon and especially if they get transferred to my even bigger pots!

I think if I pull them out of the sun by 2 pm they may do better!

I’ve been frying them probably as this window gets full sun for many hours!

I can always tell when it’s 2 or 3 cuz the house starts to heat up!

  2. I’m pretty terrible with plants. I only have one, a pothos, and it’s currently in three pieces as I’m trying to re-root it. I’m a little sad about that.

  3. Is that a basket type plant? I’ve been wanting to try a vine type or whatever it is. I got the mystery seeds from the library and it’s been an experiment. I took 9 but only 4 sprouted cuz I’m terrible apparently.

The Nots I bought from Walmart in seed form, it’s hanging on!

Sometimes I think they’d be better off with different parents or planting them in the ground.

I don’t have my own land yet and don’t want to give up on growing planty things.

Would like them in every room, on the floor, countertops, hanging from the ceiling.

But I’m barely getting on with these experimental herbs.

I don’t really have a green thumb and I’m too attached to them. They say don’t get attached.

    I can’t imagine losing a whole crop.

But trial and error I suppose?

    Don’t quit?

Good luck on re-rooting your pothos. Maybe they’re more resilient than we realize.

I wouldn’t feed it tap water unless you have a filter or good tap.

Maybe give it a good shower soak.

I see people do that but they must have a good shower head cuz that’s the same as tap?

    I can smell the chlorine…

  4. They are putting all kinds of poison in the water! They drink what I drink (bottled water) cuz I don’t have a filter for my sink or shower yet!

I think it dries out my scalp and causes hair loss. Could be age and stress though.

I definitely want some vines growing in my house but I only have natural light on one side of the house and zero windows in my bathroom.

Wouldn’t mind a big tree or two taking up the corners.

They’re suppose to filter the air.

I’d like to grow food in my apartment.

I don’t even know how to identify what’s growing outside.

Poison oak, poison ivy, who knows.

    I’m scared of it all…

    I’d also like to move.

  5. I come in contact with poison oak/ivy frequently. I think I’m even starting to develop some immunity to it. Currently have spots on both arms… 🤷🏼‍♂️

  6. Oh no! I learned that it’s mostly only humans who can’t tolerate it, other animals and bugs enjoy it.

Calamine lotion and oatmeal baths will help calm it. And probably an antihistamine like Benadryl or some knock-off!

And I think it can spread so don’t touch it and then other areas.

I think I got a bad case of it as a child which is probably why I fear it.

Calamine lotion and some cotton balls.

    Good luck
