for many years now I have looked at it the other way: the male should wait until the female orgasm happens, and eventually progress towards not even having his own orgasm except maybe once every five or ten sessions… the male gets more benefit (health, psychological, etc.) from the female orgasm, but not everyone understands this… it was a basic life longevity principle in Zen and Taoist practices of old — besides it is surprisingly pleasurable and builds closeness.
