Laughter is currency for the soul
It’s way more precious than silver or gold
It can be packaged nicely & gifted or sold
It never cheapens or ages or folds

How did you describe laughter so beautifully with keeping it rhyme? :O

Years of practice maybe? Just like any other skill or trade learned, you have to keep at it. I started writing heavily at the age of 12 and I’m still trying to find my voice. I’m so glad you enjoyed my poem, it’s brand new! ☺ THANK YOU! 😊

xD I get that, it’s amazing how much you can improve in short times, depending on the amount you do said thing, as I’ve learned

I try to challenge myself to write in different styles or moods. Sometimes I play a role in my words, like actors do. Sometimes I struggle getting the right verse and other times my pen will just flow… 🙂

That’s really cool, a great way to improve. I just write however and whatever feels right in the moment

Keep at it! I cannot leave the house without a pen or something to write on because I will have an idea that will come to me or a line, so I always need a way to write it down. I can write pretty much anywhere but one thing I’ve never done is gone back and tried to improve any of my poems and it’s something I might do in the future. But it’s weird looking back on my older stuff because I was completely different person then. xx
