I needed time to understand what I was feeling

Moments caught with you were a dance
And while petite and frightened I still took a chance

But it was really love at first glance

Your existence lifted my spirit
Inside this heart you are my dearest
My soul for you an endless lyric
Dreams of you I frequently visit

It is for you my hands are reaching
My body a temple ready and willing
