Time changes shape when I am near him
The sky absolute and whole
Bathing in his blue lagoon

He’s a telescope looking on me
Separating me into spectral components

Heaven answered when he prayed
The way the sun rises with pink not grey

He is casting starlight in his pocket
His steps are oblong –
Leaving trails of sucked honeydew

He gives wind the courage to blow
And does it not lift up where you falter?
You are a kite in the wind

I am chasing after you
Time is layered on my skin
You’re in every line
