Because I know
I’ll cross the threshold
And when gravity
Tips its scales
All eternity will fall
And heaven
Will gently
Fumble at your
Footsteps
The way pebbles
Form smooth edges
Over time
My dreams
Are baptized
By your words
Like prayers whispered
Into passing clouds
On sunless days
I am tiptoeing death
Leaving pieces of me
In only places you will find
There is grand justice
In knowing
Only you will crawl the distance
Might my heart
Be dust and ash
But love lieth here

Dying and just want to matter how ever briefly…
His existence is a breathing apparatus
He exists, therefore I am

A pleasure to delight myself with the reading of your well conceived verses.
Fraternal greetings.
