I wonder how my name would sound upon his tongue
Dripping off the alter
Seeping underneath my skin
Foraging its way to fantasies underground
Entire oceans parting open
To let him in
Would it flood my deserts
Cover my roots with silky twine
Promise blooms of forever

We should be able to follow each other PoeEternal. I think that would be good again as we were following each other.

And I’ll try to catch up to other bloggers soon, I’ve been really pushing my creativity boundaries and so I’ve been a little bit isolated. But, also because I started a Patreon and that is taking up my time now too. I’m the only one who manages all my accounts. π

That sounds like you are some busy. I know I have a number of social media sites that keep me busy as well. Keep smiling and positive.

Such a wonderful reading! It’s interesting how I read it one way in my head, yet hearing your reading of it changed its meaning subtly for me. Nice!

Thank you Tony, that means a lot to me that you took time to not only read but to listen! Sometimes just hearing something will change the meaning for me too. Or reading something after I’ve only heard it. I’m glad it helps the poem as opposed to distract because I’m kind of new at doing the spoken word stuff. And super shy haha! π

I’ve done some spoken word stuff myself, and it is HARD. I still don’t know what I’m doing half the time, but it sure is fun playing with the different shades of something. I get the sense that this is why you do this too!

Absolutely and nd I’m trying to get good enough on my guitar where I can do spoken word and finger pick a little bit and I have attempted it one time on my Tuners channel! π

Oh, nice one! You’re one up on me then. I can’t even play an instrument badly (let alone goodly)! π

I only know a few chords and I’m self-taught. Wretched. Hehe π
