When warnings go unheard
When she gets what she deserved
Where tears flow unfurled
An angel with wings now curled

Where silence pours in the crack
With eyes not looking back
Where eyes now appear black
And the love is what they lack

When they mock her only truth
And he swallows at her youth
And there’s never arms to soothe
When you give up way too soon

When darkness is the only light
Where the tongue has no blight
When there’s something quite not right
So you disappear into the night
