Diaphanous

Maybe my heart is a diaphanous veil
And love is translucent but now growing stale
Maybe his kiss is the all holy grail
But if I am seen it is too hard to tell

Maybe I’ll always crumble and fail
Maybe I’ll always be hung by his nail
Maybe the truth is just written in braille
Or maybe I died and so living in hell
