Swim

He never told her how much she meant to him
Because she didn’t mean a thing
Love she never learned to swim
And so wound up drowning

Deeper yet she tried to wade
To kill the fire that’s burning
Heavy prices have been paid
But what he taught she isn’t learning

  1. Keep bringing it to us Delia. All your poems are so incredibly DEEP as the ocean, DARK as a volcano erupting, yet, SHINES among star lights in the sky. Well done!
