Ask My Heart

I take the outside, pull it in
Rope is tied but wearing thin
I have died and will again
Ask my heart just where it’s been

I take the inside, stretch it out
Now we both are filled with doubt
Tongue is tied we cannot shout
Ask my heart what it’s about
